Who is responsible

This site is operated by Julian Bauer. If you have any questions or requests relating to your personal data, contact julian@inferecon.com.

What data we collect

This site collects no personal data directly. There are no user accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter sign-ups, and no advertising.

The only data collected is aggregated, anonymous page-view data via Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel does not set cookies or store persistent identifiers. Instead, it derives a temporary, daily-rotating hash from the incoming request (IP address and User-Agent string) solely to de-duplicate visits within a 24-hour window. That hash is never stored permanently and cannot be used to identify you across sessions, sites, or days.

Vercel, as the hosting infrastructure provider, also processes server request logs (including IP addresses) as part of normal operation. This is covered by Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Legal basis (GDPR)

The analytics described above involve no cookies, no personal identifiers, and produce only aggregated statistics that cannot be attributed to any individual. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding site traffic (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for this limited, privacy-preserving measurement. You may opt out at any time via the banner on your first visit or by updating your preference in the cookie settings link in the site footer.

Fonts and third-party assets

Fonts (Geist, Source Serif 4) are downloaded at build time and served directly from this site. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service when you visit.

Data retention

Vercel Analytics retains aggregated, anonymised statistics. The temporary visitor hash used for de-duplication expires after 24 hours. No raw request logs containing IP addresses are retained beyond Vercel's standard infrastructure logging period.

Your analytics consent preference is stored in your browser's local storage. It contains only the value accepted or declined and remains until you clear it or change your preference.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because this site does not collect data that can be linked to an individual, most of these rights cannot be exercised in practice — there is simply no data on file to retrieve or delete. For any question, write to julian@inferecon.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. No change will retroactively expand data collection beyond what is described here.
